Your information deserves clear, careful handling.
This policy explains what DiningHub collects, why we use it and the choices available to you. It applies when you use our website, restaurant platform, POS and related services.

1. Introduction
DiningHub provides technology used by restaurants and other food businesses. Depending on how you interact with us, you may be a restaurant owner or team member, a customer ordering from a restaurant, a website visitor or a person contacting our team. This policy describes our handling of information in each of these situations.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information created through use of the service and limited technical information needed to operate, protect and improve the platform.
Personal information
This may include your name, email address, phone number, role, contact preferences and the content of enquiries or support conversations.
Business and restaurant information
Restaurants may provide their business name, outlet and branch details, menu, pricing, taxes, tables, suppliers, staff records, inventory, orders, bills and operational settings.
Account information
We process login identifiers, password credentials in protected form, permissions, account status and records of account activity. Please keep your credentials confidential and use individual accounts where available.
Device, technical and usage information
We may receive IP address, browser and device type, operating system, timestamps, diagnostic records and information about the features and pages used. This helps us maintain performance, investigate faults and prevent misuse.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and administer accounts; process restaurant orders and workflows; deliver support; communicate about service matters; send requested product information; maintain security; troubleshoot problems; understand and improve features; enforce applicable terms; and meet lawful obligations. We do not use restaurant operational data to operate a competing restaurant business.
4. How information is shared
We share information only where reasonably needed to provide the service, follow your instructions, protect rights and safety, complete a business transaction involving DiningHub, or comply with a valid legal requirement. Within a restaurant account, information is available according to the access and permissions configured by that restaurant.
Service providers and third parties
We may use hosting, infrastructure, communications, support, analytics and other vendors that process information for us. They receive only the information needed for their function and are expected to handle it appropriately. Restaurant customers may also enable integrations or services operated by third parties; their own terms and privacy practices apply.
Payment information
Payments may be handled by payment gateways or financial service providers. DiningHub may receive transaction references, payment status and limited billing details needed for records and support. Card, bank or UPI credentials entered directly with a payment provider are handled under that provider's practices.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and platform may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, maintain security and understand service performance. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.
6. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please notify us promptly if you believe an account or information has been compromised.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and satisfy applicable obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the restaurant's account arrangements. Information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
8. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law and the context in which we hold the information, you may ask to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing messages using the instructions in those messages.
Account and data deletion requests
To request account closure or deletion, email manshu.developer@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and describe the account or data concerned. We may need to verify your identity and authority. Some records may be retained where reasonably required by law, security, fraud prevention, billing or dispute-resolution needs.
9. Children's privacy
DiningHub's business platform is not directed to children. We do not knowingly invite children to create operator accounts. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the matter.
10. Third-party links and services
Our services may contain links to websites or services we do not control. DiningHub is not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing information.
11. Business and restaurant data
Restaurants control the business data they enter into DiningHub and are responsible for having an appropriate basis to collect and use information about their staff and customers. When we process such information to provide the platform, we do so on the restaurant's behalf and according to its instructions, our agreement and applicable requirements. Individuals seeking action on data held by a restaurant should usually contact that restaurant first.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. We will publish the revised version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will take reasonable steps to provide an additional notice where appropriate.
